Wise Bird Cider Co.’s restaurant, Little Fork, is lead by Chef Nick Fisherkeller. Most recently the Executive Chef at 21c Hotel’s LockBox and an alum of other Lexington restaurants like Elixir, Portofino and the Julep Cup, Fisherkeller brings a wide range of experience to Wise Bird Cider’s food program. His recipes have been featured in Garden & Gun, Forbes and other publications and will bring a unique dining option to Wise Bird’s ciders, cocktails, and beer offerings. 

“We are thrilled to welcome Nick to the Wise Bird Cider team and are excited for this new version of Little Fork. Nick’s playful, exploratory culinary style is evident in the menu he has put together and we’re excited to place an emphasis on gluten free and vegan options, food and cider pairings, and meaningful options for kids,” says Owner Tim Wright. The menu will feature mainstays like a smash burger and french fries, shareables like a cheese and charcuterie board, and creative additions like a Chistorra Sausage Skewer and Twice-fried Tofu. “Given the quality of Wise Bird’s award winning beverage program, I wanted to design a menu influenced by the European countries where cider is produced while also highlighting Kentucky foodways,” says Fisherkeller. The menu will continue to be focused on sustainability, local food sourcing and partnerships with community partners and farmers like Black Soil.

Little Fork is a farm-to-table dining experience located at Wise Bird Cider in Lexington’s Distillery District and will be open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday and lunch Friday through Sunday.
