TAPROOM  STAFF

Join our team!  Wise Bird Cider Co. is seeking energetic, extroverted, hospitality-focused staff for our Taproom in the Distillery District. The position starts in late May 2019 and offers an opportunity to be a part of our family-owned startup cidery. Our love of quality heritage cider will make us different, our talented people and superior customer service will make us GREAT!

Wise Bird Cider is a small, family-run business committed to crafting small-batch heritage ciders made with a focus on tradition and quality from the best apples we can get our hands on. We believe that great apples make great ciders and we source as many apples as we can from Kentucky, but we also seek out harder to find, cider-specific apples from our neighbors in Ohio and Virginia when we need to. We are committed to our community, to Lexington, and to Kentucky. We believe in staying as local as possible for as much as possible. We believe in being good people, hiring good people and that giving back to our community makes our world a better place.

Job Details

We are seeking taproom staff who love serving people. Wise Bird Cider will serve heritage and modern ciders along with local beers and a limited food menu. We need people that are eager to tell our story, share knowledge about our products and how cider is made, and who will engage the community to help make traditional heritage cider more well known. It’s essential that our taproom staff are excited about learning about our “traditional style” of hard cider, are able to describe our products to customers, and can help connect our products and story to the taproom experience. We want this place to be the most kick-ass, friendliest craft beverage place around!
